Sunidhi Chauhan, a voice so unique and different was surprisingly born in the city of Delhi. The judges were same and one more legendary singer came to join them, Asha Bhosle.
Sunidhi Chauhan was the deserving candidate for “Chervolet GIMA (Global India Music Award) of Best Live Performer in Female Category” and she won this title for her high pitch voice and outstanding stage performances.
Sunidhi Chauhan was interest in hearing International music and she got a break to work with some international singers like John Legend, Pitbull, and K’Naan and to Alicia Keys. She sang song to raise the fund for desperate people. She sang two songs like Valentines and Call Me. She took the money to Mumbai to invest in improving the inner beauty of the disadvantaged girls of the country.
After spreading her magic in the solo performances Sunidhi Chauhan also worked with some other great singers of their times. She sang various songs with Sonu Nugam in various movies and she fit with him best. She also sang songs with Alka Yagnik, Sukhwinder Singh, and Shreya Ghoshal. The very good thing about her is that she made her good response to all singers and sang very well with them. She also did a composition with a singer singer Faakhir Mehmood of Pakistan. The album in which she sang was Mantra. Apart from this, she also did work with Enrique Iglesias for his album Heartbeat and it came in two versions.
Sunidhi Chauhan has also worked with many of the lyricists including Jaideep Sahni, Gulzar, Irshad Kamil, Sameer , Swanand Kilkire, Javed Akhtar, Prasoon Joshi and Anand Bakshi. The various music directors she worked with included Vandemataram Srinivas, Anu Malik, Bappi Lahiri, Rajesh Roshan, Yuvan, Himesh Reshammiya, Jatin Lalit, M. M. Keeravani , Shankar-Ehsaan-Loy, A. R. Rahman, Ilaiyaraja ,Pritam Chakraborty, Nadeem-Shravan, Vishal-Shekhar and others.
Sunidhi Chauhan is among the few present generation’s female singers who have given her voice for the top actresses of the Indian Entertainment Industry including Rekha, Jacqueline Fernandez, Madhuri Dixit, Sridevi, Kajol, Preity Zinta, Kareena Kapoor, Aishwarya Rai, Katrina Kaif, Dia Mirza, Priyanka Chopra, Parineeti Chopra, Deepika Padukone, Bipasha Basu, Urmila Matondkar, Shilpa Shetty, Anushka Sharma, Lara Dutta, Konkona Sen Sharma, Rani Mukerji and Rakhi Sawant. She had also sung the comeback songs for Madhuri Dixit and Kajol for movies like Aaja Nachle and Fanaa respectively.
